Can I get replacement parts to my cordless 21.6v drill if I bought it on ebay?

Question:

Hi Carl.
I recently purchased a Cordless 21.6v drill, and also was purchasing a circular saw to mach it. I bought it on Ebay. It was suppose to be 21.6v BUT wasn’t.. its the 19.2v one. Well now I’m wondering if I can return this item for the one I wanted. And/or..can them 21.6v batteries be placed in the 19.2v circular saw unit? HELP!

Answer:

Hello Robert,
I'm not sure who sold you that unit but Alltrade does not sell on Ebay so you could go back to the seller for some sort of help. As for the voltage of 21.6 versus 19.2, since the voltage is so close, we've tested and found that no harm will come of using the 21.6 to power a 19.2 unit. We do it all the time during testing of the various units.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
