The chuck keeps loosening on my Kawasaki 21.6 volt drill?

Question:

I have a Kawasaki cordless drill, Model 3076022. I occasionally use it as a driver to lower and raise my RV trailer's level/stabilizers. Increasingly it works fine when lowering the stabilizers, but when I try to raise them, the chuck works loose from the driver and unscrews. How can I tighten the chuck so as to prevent this annoying problem?

Thanks,
Joe Holder

Answer:

Hello Joe,
Your problem is with the chuck attaching screw. Please call our customer service number 1-800-423-3598 and give them your model number and they’ll send you a replacement screw, which should solve your problem. When you receive your screw, please remember that it has reverse threads and must be correctly tightened to assure proper operation.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
