What are the pros and cons of using ANSI certified tools?

Question:

What are the pros and cons of using ANSI certified tools?

Answer:

Hello Eddie,
ANSI certified tools are your assurance that they have been tested by accredited testing laboratories to meet American tools standards (which have been found to provide the highest quality for any given category). Testing includes proper metallurgy, manufacturing processes (which includes
all components), testing under heavy use conditions and many other aspects as relates to reliability and functionality. Even foreign made products that make this claim must pass those critical standards that apply to American tools, tested to meet ANSI spec's.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
