Oil leak - 5 gallon twin stack compressor
We own an Alltrade twin stack 5 gallon air compressor (model #480768) that we bought from either Home Depot or Lowes several years ago. We use it at home only and it does NOT get heavy use. It is used mainly for checking air in car tires & filling them, and for the occasional DIY project that uses and air nailer. It is stored in our garage when not in use. We haven't used it in about a year and over the past couple months it has slowly been leaking oil. Do you have any suggestions on what to check? I have been putting a paper towel under the area directly below the oil indicator to catch the slow leak. Once I get the leak fixed, which oil is best to use, SAE 20 or SAE 30?
