charger recall cordless drill

Question:

I have a Kawasaki 21.6 drill. I am in the process of the charger recall. I bought the drill a couple years ago and it worked great for about 3 months and then just died so kept using my other drill i recently took the drill apart to fix it. The motor and head still works fine, it's the box behind the trigger i was wonder if i can order a part or what the warranty is. i have no problem sending it in. but i dont have anything for proof of purchase. thanks Dustin
