The special screw used to hold the chuck in place broke off from my 21.6v 2-speed Kawasaki drill?

Question:

I purchased the 21.6v 2-speed Kawasaki drill. Recently, while drilling, the head on the special screw used to hold the chuck in place broke off. Has this problem occurred before? In all the drills I have owned, this has never occurred. How do I get a replacement screw to get my drill back in place? Is the drill too powerful for the screw that is used? This drill is still under warranty but I do not want to have to send the entire drill in just to replace the screw unless there is a recall or reason that the drill needs to be sent in for repair. Thanks for your help.
Lonnie

Answer:

Hello Lonnie,
No problem, just call our customer service number 1-800-423-3598, give them your model number and they'll send you a replacement screw.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
