Problems with my cordless 19.2v drill with charger?

Question:

I just bought a cordless 19.2v drill with charger and two batteries. I just noticed this evening that the charger does not appear to be working properly. Neither battery appears to charge on it. The paperwork says to insert the battery in the charger and to press the SET button to start the charge. This does nothing and neither on/off lights are working. Yes the outlet I'm using is fine. I have other chargers for other cordless stuff that are working on the same circuit just fine.

Answer:

Hello Charles,
Please be sure that you've pushed the batteries all the way into their cavity. Sometimes, when new, the cavity may have a tendency to restrict the full entry until used a few times. In the event this does not work, call our customer service number 1-800-423-3598 and request a replacement.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
