What should I do if my Kawasaki 3.6 volt Cordless Screwdriver stopped working and I don't have the receipt?

Hi Carl,
I received a Kawasaki 3.6 volt Cordless Screwdriver for Christmas. This is the second time I have used it. I started to put together a desk for my kid and halfway it stopped working. I charged the unit but it still would not work. The vcharge lite comes on but after three hours it still does not work. I do not have a receipt. Please advise what steps I should do. The package said there is a two ltd warranty. Thank you in advance for your response.
