Are the 21.6v compatible with the 19.2V accessories?

Question:

I have a 21.6V Kawasaki drill/driver. My charger quit and Alltrade supplied me a new charger - thank you. The new charger says 24V output not 21.6V. Is this correct? Also, I would like to buy a cordless sawzall for it. It looks like all the saws you sell are for the 19V units. Is the 21.6 compatible with the 19.2V accessories?

Answer:

Hello Bob,
The 24 V listing is correct and you'll find that all chargers for cordless tool batteries develop a higher output voltage than required for the battery being charged. So, there is nothing to worry about. As for the cordless saw, please go to www.alltradetoolstore.com where you will find the whole listing available.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
