Kawasaki 4 V

Re:Kawasaki 4V cordless-model 691512 Unit has apparently "seized" - no longer will rotate although battery shows charge. Can the drive unit be "split" just above the chuck to expose the drive shaft so can be loosened? An exploded view of the unit would be helpful to understand how it should be taken apart to service. Appreciate an answer. Thank you.
