cordless drill charging problems
Question:

Sir . I have a Kawasaki 19.2 V cordless drill/driver model# 840128, when I try to charge the batteries the light on the charger goes out after a few minutes, not charging the batteries, Do I need a new charger or new batteries? and if so , where might I find a new charger, I see you sell replacement batteries but not chargers. Thank you Keith Williams

Answer:

You can check the output of your charger using a multimeter.  It should be putting out anywhere from 22-24 volts.  If not you need a new charger.  Otherwise you need a new battery.  You can obtain either by calling Alltrade customer service at 1-800-423-3598.  Give them the model number 840128 and the item you require.  If you do not have access to a multimeter, you can describe the problem to customer service to see if they have a recommendation.  I have been away and had forwarded this to customer service to reply to you but I have not received any feedback from them.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
