snow blowers

Question:

I'm having a problem with my snow blower. After I'm finished blowing snow; I store my snow blower in an outdoor shed. However, when I return the next morning the wheels won't turn. When I apply heat to the unit (ie: gear box) after a few minutes the wheels begin to turn again and I can start blowing snow. Could the problem be the bearings? Are they freezing up? I thought that these bearings were sealed and water would not penetrate; but, I may be wrong.
