how to read torque wrench in nM and ft-lbs
Hi I am trying read a pwerbuilt model 944050 1/2 inch drive torque wrench for both nM and ft-lbs of torque. I need to not exceed 10 nM or 7.4 ft-lbs. When I look at the scale of this torque wrench 7.4 ft-lbs of torque on the lower scale does not line up with what is 10 nM on the upper scale. can you explain. I am confused by the scale presentation. unless I am misreading the nM scale. the units posted on the scale are m-Kg. I a M-Kg the same as 1 Newton-meter?
