Problems removing lug nuts using an All-Trade 71 piece air tool set?

Question:

Hi Carl,
I just bought All-Trade 71 piece air tool set on 6-28-2005. I wanted to use the 1/2" impact wrench to remove the lug nuts off of a vehicle. Put 5 drops of oil in the impact, using 3/8" air hose with 1/4" NPT, set the compressor at 90 psi. (which is a 5hp). I went to remove the lug nuts off the vehicle. It would not even move the lug nuts at all. I grabbed the socket on the impact with my hand and pulled the trigger. I could hold the socket without it turning in my hand, which is set at #4. Also tried # 1 2 3 also moved the air pressure up to 105 psi. There wasn't any difference.
Any ideas?

Answer:

Hello Gary,
What type of vehicle and what is the tank capacity? Did you test run the unit? This is extremely unusual as this set is one of the best moderately priced sets on the market, as well as, being made by the top air tool factory in the Orient. Call our customer service number at 1-800-423-3598 and explain to them.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
