Snap-on air compressor #870931
Hi, I recently purchased the Snap-on 3 gallon air compressor (#870931) and upon performing the initial set-up procedure, I found that the compressor won’t fill past 70 psi and the motor does not shut off. The drain valve is completely shut and the regulator is turned completely counter-clockwise so that no pressure builds in the outlet valve. When I shut off the motor (with the drain valve closed), the pressure slowly falls to 0. When the motor is on, I notice air blowing from the side of the motor shroud (opposite the side the drain valve is on). Please advise on whether I should return this compressor. Thanks, Chris
