Some what concerned
Last time my power went out I hooked the generator, SR3000, to my refrigerator. The refrigerator bulb was dim and blinking somewhat, and the motor ran quieter than usual . I was concerned I was damaging my fridge so I disconnected it . I then used it to power my electric chain saw , which supposedly draws more current than the fridge and it worked fine.I am thinking of using it on my furnace but am concerned that it might damage something ,the furnace only draws 6 amps .less ,than the fridge and chain saw. I tested the output and it read 125 volts 62 hertz on the generator. Do you think I'm taking a chance running my furnace on this generator, when it appeared to have a problem powering the fridge? The fridge is fine now on house current . I just don't know.
