kawasaki 21.6v drill wireless
Question:
Im using my drill to lift or lower my camper from my truck it is an ultra light camper and the drill is handleling ok But while lowering or unscrewing or counter clock wise mode the chuck unscrewed it self from the drill body. Ive put it back in and tried to tighten it as much as I could but now that it has come of ounce it keeps unscrewing itself when its tought to lower the unit I bought my drill at costco a mounth ago should I return it for a new one..?

Answer:

Please be advised that your chuck is held onto the shaft by a left threaded screw.  The only way the chuck can come off is if the holding screw has loosened.  What you will need to do is open the chuck up fully, and, using a Phillips head screwdriver, tighten the screw in reverse mode.  We hope you have not lost said screw, but if so, please call customer service at 1-800-423-3598 to order a replacement.  There is nothing wrong with the drill.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
