Trades Pro 5 HP compressor
I have a trades pro compressor that runs and gets hot, but never goes above 30 pounds. I looked on the internet about it and it talks about the reed switch maybe not working, but do I need to hone the cylinder and put in new rings to repair it. If so, where can I buy the parts? Thank you.

Hello David,

One thing you might try is to remove the head and flip the reed valve over as this, in many cases, cures the problem.  If the problem still persists, please call customer service at 1-800-423-3598 and give them your model number so they can quote you price and availability of the valve.  I am at a satellite location and do not have direct access to that information.

Thanks for asking,
